Getting started is easy! Just sign in with your Google account and click on "Create New Org Chart" from your dashboard. You can either import your data from a CSV file or start building your chart from scratch.
Yes! CSV/Excel import is available on Pro. Upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file from the import screen. The file should include these columns:
Team nodes are supported in CSV imports by setting is_team to TRUE and putting the team name in title.
position_id, title, departmentname (blank = unassigned), manager_id (blank = top-level), is_team (TRUE = team node)
For team rows, set is_team to TRUE and leave name empty.
To assign the same person to multiple roles under different managers, repeat the person name on
multiple rows. Each role needs its own unique position_id and manager_id.

Note: the import focuses on core fields only. Styling fields like position colors are not supported yet.
Open an org chart, click the organization settings panel, and choose a theme in the Theme section. Themes update card borders, team accents, and connector line colors across the chart.
Theming is available on TeamChart Pro.
Click on any position in your org chart to open the position details panel. From there, you can edit the position title, assign team members, and manage reporting relationships.
Here's a quick walkthrough of editing a position:
Yes. Select a position and use the row up/down buttons beneath it to shift the card within its manager's row. This is a visual-only change and does not alter reporting relationships.
Hover any position and click the + button to add a new role beneath it, or the X button to delete it. You can also right-click a position for the same actions. Changes auto-save as you go.
Open the org chart, use the Share menu, and copy either the public link or the iframe embed code. The link is read-only, and the embed stays in sync with your chart updates.
Charts are private by default. For broader read-only access, turn on the public link for that org chart or export it as a PNG/PDF. You can disable the public link at any time to revoke access.
Yes! You can export your org charts as PNG, PDF, or CSV files. This feature is available to all Pro users. Simply open your org chart and click the download buttons in the toolbar.
The Pro plan removes the free 1-org-chart limit and the 25-position limit per org chart, unlocks CSV/Excel import, and enables PNG/PDF/CSV exports and chart theming. It's $19 one time for lifetime access.
